Dave Stevenson

Dave Stevenson has sculpted in studios in Massachusetts, California, Montana, and the Caribbean. He chose these spots for their ready access to snowboarding, surfing, and climbing, activities he cites as Inspiration for the signature fluid contours of his work.
Stevenson’s public art highlights include his monumental bronze Acrobat located outside Brandywine Realty Trust’s corporate headquarters at FMC Tower in Philadelphia, PA (Pelli-Clarke & Partners Architects). Over the years Stevenson has collaborated on commissions with acclaimed musicians, filmmakers & choreographers. Notable private collections include those of Pfizer, Inc., James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment, and the violinist Joshua Bell. Charitable work includes projects for the William J. Clinton foundation and Parkinson’s Unity Walk.
Stevenson’s work can be seen on various shows and films on networks and streaming services, including NETFLIX, ABC, CBS, VH1 Classic, HBO Max, Starzz, and Paramount+. Publications include St. Barth Weekly, Harper’s Bazaar, The Santa Cruz Sentinel, The Wall Street Journal, The Bozeman Chronicle, Town & Country, Seventeen, Ensemble Lifestyles, and People.
A graduate of The College of William and Mary, Stevenson is represented in Chicago by Gallery VICTOR. The sculptor splits his time between a small design studio in Manhattan and a larger live/workspace in the Catskills.
